Turn a House box into a Haunted House

Today, I have one final Halloween project for My Scrap Chick.

Who doesn't love Haunted Houses?
As long as they are not to scary...right?

These little house boxes are perfect for giving and giving treats but I wanted to change them up a bit

Start with the three Country Vintage House boxes.
I kept the window, window frame, roof pieces, grass and fence but deleted the rest.

Haunted House & Guests

From the Haunted House kit, use the tree, gravestones, moon. bat and pumpkin.

The Large house.  I used a wood embossing folder on the fence.
Make 2 sets of bats and enlarge one of them by almost double.

For the small house, use the gravestones.  Keep one at its original size and make the other just a bit smaller.  You could write on the gravestones if you wanted to as well.

I think the Tall box is my favorite but its hard to say.
Add the tree and the pumpkin to finish this box.

Fill each box with some fun treats.  They are big enough you could even put a small gift in them instead of candy.
Or use them for Decor for your Halloween party.

The boxes and pieces were cut using the Cricut but you could use any digital cutter or if you are brave there is also a PDF that can be printed and cut by hand.

Thank you for stopping by and
Happy Halloween!
